Summer Intern Opportunities at Kern County Criminalistics Laboratory
In the past 2-3 years, several of our students have availed themselves of the opportunity to do research during the summer at the Kern County Crime Laboratory. This will require a temporary move to the Bakersfield area of Southern California area where living costs are very reasonable.
Some of our past participants are Yeh-Yu Jung, Han-Ting Chen and others. This summer the Kern County Crime Lab would like two students to do DNA research that should qualify for thesis work. It has to be publishable in a journal. If you are interested, the head of the lab would like a letter and a copy of your CV.
