Diversity and Inclusion

Respecting Difference, Striving for Equity

The way we see it, the world is just too big to be bound by narrow perspectives. Davis—both on campus and in the community—is diverse, welcoming and inclusive.

The Forensic Science Graduate Program includes students from across the country and all over the world, creating a rich variety of cultures, backgrounds and interests.

We are committed to promoting an environment in which all students, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, national origin, ability, visa status, religion, age or economic background, are welcome, well supported, and given the tools they need to thrive intellectually.

Our holistic admissions process takes into account, along with more traditional academic criteria, applicants’ personal backgrounds as well as their potential for leadership for promoting diversity and equity in higher education.
